1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Fabulous! By Carol Behrens I loved it! From the very first line to the last, I couldn't put it down!! The plot was engaging with unpredictable twists and turns. The characters included loveable heroes and detestable bad guys and a few in-betweens that weren't revealed until the end. The descriptions were perfectly woven into the storyline, allowing me to imagine every detail without ever slowing down the pace of the story. I was taken by surprise. Although I am familiar with some of Bob Baker's other work, this is completely different and, without a doubt, outstanding.

A fun ride with some cool twists and turns By Timothy Imhoff Unraveling the Book of Secrets was a fun ride through St. Louis, following the exploits of a freelance writer turned mystery detective. There were some quirky characters from the music industry and some surprising twists and turns in the murky world of the occult. The story kept me interested throughout, and the writing was superb. Congrats Bob! A great first novel!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Easy reading By Peter Mulraney I enjoyed the storyline and wanted to know where it was all heading, so I read it in a couple of sessions. This is not one of those hard edge thrillers - it's more of a cosy with a totally out of his depth investigator. Stewart, the main character is a down-on-his-luck freelance writer who get's himself into trouble because he can't resist the allure of a pretty face. I liked the music industry touch and ever increasing level of danger Stewart finds himself in. Some interesting support characters round it out and the ending was a little unexpected. Bob's style is easy to read.
