Perfect combination for passing a few idle moments By horrorgirldonna My mother is a huge Sudoku fan, so I couldn’t pass this book up when I saw it on Kindle Unlimited. I printed it out for her and she tells me she loves it. Each puzzle begins with a teaser / hint, to get you stared, but the notable thing about this collection of puzzles is that the solutions aren’t found in the book. Plus, each puzzle page also features some lovely patterns to doodle on or color, if the mood should strike you. I’m not sure my mom has colored yet, but she definitely enjoyed the puzzles—challenging, but not frustrating. This is a fun collection and recommend to any fan of puzzle games. The pages printed out nicely and could be easily re-sized, if necessary.

One part brain, one part zen By Mana G I'm going to be bluntly honest- there are times when I get bored doing a sudoku puzzle (you know when you can't seem to get that ONE number? Yeah. That.) and there are times that I get bored coloring (I know, I'm a traitor). But the two of them? Together? It keeps me going for quite a while.Realistically, it's the perfect activity- one part is a brain-stretcher, but when I get a wee tired I can pull out the colors and allow myself to relax. When I'm relaxed enough or I figure something out I go right back to the sudoku. It's a never-ending cycle that only gets broken when I finish either part of the page- the sudoku or the coloring. The level of the sudoku itself is about an upper-intermediate, so enough to make you think but not so frustrating that you crumple the page and quit.All it all, it's a great book- The patterns to color are perfect for any age, meaning that the juniors can use the thicker lines and the adults can use the thinner, and the sudoku isn't overwhelming while still being challenging. Highly recommended.

The fusion of Sudoku puzzle and coloring book is simply brilliant. As a fellow Sudoku enthusiast and coloring addict, "Doodle Sudoku," couldn't be any more perfect for me or anyone with the same interests. The Sudokus are keenly placed amongst intricately beautiful designs and certainly make the experience absolutely meditative. Numbers and art together makes for an even better overall experience. My favorite part is that you get to exercise the right and left part of your brain at the same time.
