7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Good Book, Out of Date By D. Hicks This is a great taxidermy book. It covers almost everything you need to know about classic taxidermy. For that, I highly recommend this book.There are two things, however. The first is that this book is an exact reprint of the same book published in 1908. That makes this book over 100 years old, so the language is that old, as well (no big deal). Moreover, though, the chemicals used are that old. No one poisons animal skin with arsenic, anymore. Past that, though, this book will be just fine.The second thing is that these types of books can be downloaded for free on Google Books. Not this one exactly, but books just as detailed and similar to it.
