Bross’s contemporary, new adult SECOND CHANCES romance series. This is college senior Avery Melrose and Seth Hunter’s storyline.Told from alternating first person points of view (Avery and Seth) RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE follows the misadventures of Avery and Seth. Avery was about to embark on 300 hours of community service for destroying her ex-boyfriend’s truck after she found him in bed with another woman, when she meets the mysterious Seth Hunter at a bar and considers pursuing a one-night stand. Two days later, Avery will reconnect with Seth in the community service program where Seth is serving 300 hours following his release from prison.Avery comes from money and her parent’s plans for her future included corporate law and the wife of a future politician but these were not Avery’s plans, and our heroine wanted something more in her life. Seth came from nothing-a drug infested trailer park where his younger sister struggles to survive. With Seth’s release from prison, our hero intends to get custody of the only family member he has left.The relationship between Avery and Seth is one of immediate attraction; the sexual energy is high and fuel is added to the already feisty relationship when Avery and Seth are teamed together for community service. The $ex scenes are erotic, intense and provocative.We are introduced to Avery’s parents who believe they know what is best for their only child; and Avery’s best friend Shari who is all about keeping her best friend happy. Seth’s best friend Ryan is the only constant in our hero’s life, and Ryan’s storyline is next in WHATEVER IT TAKES.RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE is a story about a girl from a good home who meets and falls in love with a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. The premise is entertaining with some fun banter between Avery and Seth; the characters are animated and charismatic-we all know someone like Avery and Seth; the happily ever after is just beginning. The conflict resolution was a bit of a rush to the finish-plenty of build up to an anti-climactic reveal. Too many issues settled too quickly and too easily-there should have been some more detail and build up to the final resolve but overall RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE is an enjoyable, New Adult storyline with all the hallmarks of the popular genre.

The judge is giving her community service for her crime. The same night she decides to go out with her best friend to have a little fun before she starts her sentence. She is not looking for a one night stand until she meets a guy she can't keep her eyes off. Yet, after a steamy encounter she leaves believing him to be a jerk. To her surprise, he is there the next morning and he's going to be doing the community service with her!Seth Hunter is finally out of prison. His best friend takes him to a bar to enjoy his freedom. Seth knows his focus should be in staying out of trouble and keeping his sister safe. The last thing in his mind should be falling for a girl. Meeting Avery makes him want to derail all the plans. He knows they are a world apart, but he's willing to give their relationship a chance.I like this book a lot. Seth and Avery's backgrounds are completely opposite. Avery comes from a rich family. She's spoiled and entitled. On the other hand, she has worked hard for her success, losing some of her own self by letting her parents guide her life. She aims to please them. When she meets Seth, he frees her. She will fight for him and he would be the only thing she won't give up on. It doesn't matter who's against them.I felt so bad for Seth. He had no one in his corner except for his best friend. He was trying hard to do the right thing. I was impressed by how he was able to open up his heart to someone who could hurt him, as much as Avery could, having had a similar experience with another rich girl before."You fight for her, and I'll fight for you. By Jessica H I loved this book!!Right where you are was such a good read! I loved Seth & Avery! I have to admit I did get a little emotional on some of the parts which I wasn't expecting!BlurbAvery Melrose is used to having it all. It's just too bad real life gets in the way first, tearing these two apart before they have any chance of getting to Happily Ever After.Reading the blurb I figured it would just be another rich girl/poor boy, wrong side of the tracks but fall madly in love type of book..I guess in a way it was.. but it was a lot more than that!I had a hard time picturing them as 21.. they just seemed older to me. I guess Seth's experiences made him seem older.I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like Avery.. but ended up really liking her! I love that she is such a strong heroine! I personally think she is just as strong as Seth. Of course they both have polar opposite lifestyles but that doesn't have to mean they don't have their own obstacles in their day to day life!Right Where You Are isn't a generic rich chick/bad boy story! It's a story that will definitely hit you right in the feels! I got goosebumps reading a few parts in this book! You need to read it now!!I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
