2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Loved it. By Alexia Janie Evans "Bought for Her Innocence" by Tara Pammi is part of the 'Greeks Tycoon Tamed' series. Even though it is part of the series it is a read alone book. In this story we have Jasmine (Jas) Douglas who is working as a pole dancer in order to pay off a gambling debt owed by her deceased brother. We also meet Greek tycoon Dmitri Karegas who has known Jas since she was a young girl, and was friends with her brother. Life pulled them away from each other when she was still young but her boss wants her to give more than pole dances to the clients. So, what does Jas do? She offers her virginity to the highest bidder, and then gets back in touch with Dmitri to help her. This reminds me of the romance books I read when I was younger and started reading Harlequin's. Loved it.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Decent story, but hard to read By Kellie This is the second Tara Pammi romance I've read and I'm not overly impressed. The actually story had more substance than the usual Harlequin, which I like, but there is just not enough of a book (186 pages) to really develop that kind of story, so a lot gets brushed over which leaves you feeling like you don't have the full story. As with my review of the other book, the author's writing style is difficult to read. Lots of long run-on sentences, some of which don't make sense and a disjointed style that often has you wondering who is doing the speaking. It's a little annoying. Overall, I did like this story for it's depth, but you had to wait awhile for a hint of romance and even longer for Jas and Dimitri to get it together, I'd have liked to have seen more spark earlier in the book. Not a complete waste of time, but I probably won't read the companion book.

Expected and Hard to Read By shadowmatrx The story summary was a bit deceptive in that the main guy did purchase the main girl's virginity, but there was so much more to the circumstances that that fact was not really the focus of the plot. Putting that aside, the first 2/3rds of the book was very difficult to read/follow due to awkward phrasing of things. It's difficult to pinpoint the exact problem, but the effect was that I often had to re-read large sections of text in order to understand what was happening. At best, 3 stars.
