1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Hands down the best in this series! By Veronica L. Smith I've been following Jim and his growing family and friends since the beginning. I was happy to find Despair a much longer book than the first two. I fell in love with this series but I have to admit I think this book is the best. There is so much realism and feeling in this series that makes you relate to the characters. Plenty of infected and human action as well as the blood and guts that you have to have in any great zombie book. I can't wait until the next comes out. Keep up the great work JG!

You instantly fall in love with the Matthews family and their ability to conquer and overcome the infected. George was an added danger who succeeded in destroying so many good from the already small group of survivors. Not sure if this story continues but I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys your post-apocalyptic books. Thank you for a great read Mr. Hicks.

Great third book in the series By Fleury I was stoked to see book 3 out in this series and read it in one sitting.This was a great third book in the series and actually had quiet a lot packed into it, the pace was great and provided enough highs and lows for Jim, his family and those around them to keep you on edge.Very much looking forward to book 4!
