She is enamored with his gorgeous looks then Ryker takes her for a tour around the store with the history as he goes. Ryker offers to take her on a tour of the town and when he comes to pick her up, she gets a quite shocking surprise when she sees his white stick. Their love blooms throughout this story but when it's time to leave they aren't prepared for the brokenness they feel. In Love with Paris: Christmas Romance - France by Sharon Kleve (Places to See #2) - This was a short, fast read and puts the true meaning to love at first sight. When Paget bumps into a man after purchasing a book from her favorite author in the airport gift shop, things start to bloom. Sparks fly between her and Christopher starting on the flight and escalate even more throughout her visit to Paris. Christmas in Tuscany: Christmas Romance - Italy by Angela Ford (Places to See Book 3) - What can be better than wine and chocolate? Possibly a trip to Tuscany, it is for Erika. 10 of 11 people found the following review helpful. Holiday Romances By Reader Christmas Romance 2015 (Places To See) is a short book of sweet holiday romances. Department store owner, Mr. Simon, summons four of his most treasure employees to a meeting, where he gifts each of them a free trip to anywhere they choose. His daughter had died shortly before, and only wished to enjoy life to the fullest once she had been diagnosed with a terminal illness. He wants the same for these employees, which is why he is giving each of the four women a trip to any place they choose. The book is the story of each woman’s trip, and how she finds romance while on it.Before I go any further, let me say that I think this is a book of four fantasy stories. Four women meet four eligible, handsome, unattached men in four strange countries. Each woman begins a serious relationship with one of the men, almost a complete stranger, almost immediately. I guess the authors felt the need to suspend reality for the stories, for if they are as smart and mature as they are portrayed to be, the four women would probably never have gone this route. I wondered, as I read, how they managed to find “safe” strangers to spend so much time with, let alone jump into bed with, almost from the very beginning and how long the relationships would last. Not generally done by smart, savvy women. Unfortunately, all this did was to tell me just how desperate these women all were for a lasting relationship, and, if they were as gorgeous, intelligent, successful and well-bred, as they were portrayed to be, I could not understand why they had not found someone earlier. In addition, it was interesting that each woman just “happened” to meet THE man at the airport, on the plane, etc., who had only honorable designs and wants from a relationship. Again, not reality. I think they all were lucky that they ended up so well in the relationships, especially if you think about the barrage of stories we read daily about women who travel alone and some of the not-so-nice problems they often encounter in unknown areas, let alone countries, with strangers. I realize short stories are just that, short, and an author cannot dawdle around with things, if he/she wants to keep the story moving and finish without pages and pages of text, but these stories all belied reality.Of the four stories, I enjoyed the first one the most. It may be because I once lived in Germany for years and love Rothenberg, the German setting for the story. I also thought this girl seemed to act the most maturely and sensible of the four. There was real chemistry between Aubri and Ryker, more so than between any of the other three couples. All the settings were well chosen for the girls’ travel and romance that occurred. The four women were well described, each with different attributes and assets, but nevertheless, all were similar in enough aspects to pull the four stories together well—perhaps a tad difficult for four different authors writing four different short stories (though I have no experience in this area--it just seems that way to me). This is a pretty good holiday book for someone who is seeking a good escape and a good romance to transport you to a holiday place, infused with solid holiday spirit. Though the stories seemed a bit unrealistic in their basic premises, they all were well done, and I enjoyed reading them. I have read other works by some of the authors and these do stack up along with the others. I received this from the authors to read and provide and honest review.

A fun Christmas book about love at first sight By Courting Fiction Mr. Simon’s daughter has passed away leaving him heartbroken and determined to make sure he helps her four friends break away from their workaholic lives and live by seeing the world while they are still young. His daughter only got to travel after she had received the news that she was dying and he didn’t want the girls that have been like daughters to him, to suffer the same fate of never seeing what the world has to offer. For Christmas he offers them a gift to travel the world, anywhere they want to go, all expenses paid and their only requirement is to have fun.Kisses and StrudelPlaces to See GermanyBy Jennifer Conner Aubri knows she has explicit directions that she is to enjoy her vacation, but she’s unable to break away from her addiction to work. Rothenburg, Germany has the best Christmas stores in the world and she’s going to begin with Weignachten Haus. On the flight, she saves a man from having to sit near a screaming toddler by offering up the seat next to her. Little did she know that they would soon be sharing more than polite conversation when they landed in Bulgaria. A snow storm and full motels have Jade and Damyan sharing a room for three days before they take a journey to see Jade’s new home, and during that time they hit it off and they find themselves falling in love.This was so fun to read Christmas Romance 2015-Places to see Series. It was fun for all four girls tied to the same beginning and each setting out for their own journey. The series was short and fast, but the characters were strong, the images were beautiful, and the recipes found in the back of some of the stories were a delightful surprise. It definitely is a book about love at first sight, and it doesn’t take long for the characters to exchange more than just kisses. I enjoyed this book and the authors who wrote the stories.

As she met up with Ryker to tour the area she discovered he's legally blind.Their feelings for each other have them struggling with their living situation. After Aubri returns to work a meeting with her boss she clears the way for a future with the one person that helped her step out of her box.
